We have had Titan for pest control for a couple of years now and they do a great job. Dennis has been to our house the last few times and he is so polite and kind. He checks in to let us know he's here so we can be sure our pups are out of harm's way while the spray does it's thing. He also makes sure to see if we want the inside and outside done. He's thorough and we appreciate his professionalism. Thanks Dennis and Titan!

I would definitely recommend his service to others. Five-star experience!
What Works
Snap traps, placed correctly.Traditional snap traps remain one of the most effective DIY tools. Place them along walls where you have seen droppings, with the trigger end facing the baseboard, since mice travel along edges rather than open floors. Peanut butter works well as bait. Check and reset traps daily.
Sanitation. Mice stay where food is easy to find. Store pantry goods in sealed containers, clean up crumbs and spills promptly, keep pet food picked up overnight, and use trash cans with tight lids. Sanitation alone will not remove mice, but it makes every other method work better.
Sealing entry points. This is the step most homeowners skip, and it is the one that matters most. Mice can squeeze through gaps as small as a dime. Inspect around utility lines, foundation cracks, garage doors, and vents, and seal openings with durable materials like steel wool backed by caulk or metal flashing. If entry points stay open, new mice replace the ones you catch.
What Doesn’t Work
Scent repellents. Peppermint oil, dryer sheets, and mothballs may cause mice to avoid a spot for a short time, but they do not drive an established population out of a home.
Ultrasonic devices. Mice tend to get used to the sound quickly, and walls and furniture block the signal. Research on these devices has not shown reliable results.
Kitchen-remedy baits. Online lists of household foods that supposedly kill mice are mostly myth. They rarely work, and attempting DIY poisoning can create risks for children and pets. Rodenticides are regulated products that should be applied per label directions by licensed applicators.
Waiting it out. Mice do not leave on their own. A small number can turn into a large population in a matter of weeks.
When to Call a Pro
Do-It-Yourself methods can handle a stray mouse or two. It is time to call a professional when you see droppings in multiple rooms, hear activity night after night, keep catching mice without the signs stopping, or cannot find where they are getting in.
Here is what to expect when you call us. We start with a free on-site inspection to confirm activity and locate entry points, then provide a clear estimate, and then carry out a treatment plan that removes the mice inside and seals the openings that let them in.
We serve St. Louis and surrounding communities, including south county areas like Oakville and Lemay. And if your scratching sounds turn out to be a squirrel or raccoon instead of mice, the same team handles wildlife removal, with no second vendor needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on the population size and the number of entry points. Light activity may resolve within a couple of weeks, while heavier activity takes longer. We will walk you through a realistic timeline after your inspection.
For homeowners, traps are the safer choice. Rodenticides are regulated products best left to licensed applicators, who know how to use them per label directions and in ways that protect children and pets.
They can, if entry points are left open, which is why exclusion is a core part of our approach. Sealing openings and maintaining sanitation greatly reduce the risk of a repeat problem.
Food, water, and shelter. Accessible pantry items, pet food, cluttered storage areas, and small exterior gaps all make a home more inviting.
